Shallow Water Aerobics
Course Format: Classroom
Shallow water aerobics is a full-body workout without getting your hair wet! Participants must feel comfortable in water. Classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon to 1 PM. Participants may join at any time and are directed to pay instructor at the pool.
 

Pilates
Course Format: Classroom
Strengthening and toning that teaches the awareness of breath and the alignment of the spine. Monday and Wednesday from 12-1 PM in PE 64. Faculty and staff pay $20/monthly or $5/class. Participants may start at any time, and payment is through instructor.
 

Hatha Yoga
Course Format: Classroom
Bringing an awareness to the mind and balance to the whole body, supppleness to the limbs, and strength to the muscles. Meets 5:15-6:15 PM. Thursdays in PE-107. The first class starts January 25 and is FREE.
 

Deep Water Aerobics
Course Format: Classroom
Deep water aerobics is a non-impact, full-body workout in water. Classes meet from noon to 1 PM on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 12-1 PM. Monday through Thursday 6:30-7:30 PM and Saturday 8-9 AM. The first class is free. Participants may join at any time and are directed to pay the instructor at the pool.
 

Cardio Kickboxing
Course Format: Classroom
Not a contact class & no experience necessary. Build endurance, tone muscles, and increase agility by using punching and kicking combinations set to music.
 

Capoeira
Course Format: Classroom
Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that incorporates music and has a fluid acrobatic play where technique and strategy are the key points. Capoeira is now an official club sport but is still open to faculty, staff, students and community members as a class. The fee is $30 per month.
